This income helps us secure our future, protects and maintains the research and helps cover our ongoing costs such as the website (hosting, development, email etc.) and essential software etc.

It is important to us that what we provide free now - the website, biographies, Great War information and talks, remain free. Membership benefits are in addition to these and include:

• A member’s badge, a membership card and also a newsletter twice a year.
• ‘Member’ search facilities – great for more serious research.
• Member discount, e.g.:
  • Discount for HAW run Battlefield tours –potentially saving all or most of the membership fee.
  • 5% discount on Linesman products – Trench mapping for computer and on-site GPS.
  • HAW clothing at reduced prices.
• Free or subsidised research.
• Access to the loan of GPS-enabled Linesman Trench maps.
• Advance notice of events and an early opportunity to book.
• Perhaps most of all, the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to further the aims of our project.
