Steve Darlow - 'D-Day Bombers The Veterans' Story'
About: Steve Darlow is a writer, publisher and documentary consultant and often called upon as a contributor, consultant, or researcher for documentaries, such as Britain’s Flying Past – the Lancaster, and the Smithsonian Channel ‘s Air Warriors – Spitfire. Steve also co-produced and acted as historical consultant on the recently released feature documentary Lancaster.
The Talk: D-Day Bombers by Steve Darlow. Based on his book 'D-Day Bombers The Veterans' Story' Steve's presentation draws on numerous first-hand accounts to tell the story of the Allied heavy bomber role in the build up to D-Day, the day itself, and the subsequent Normandy campaign.
