Subject: The history and work of the CWGC
Glenn has a passion for the battlefields and has been visiting them since the mid 1990’s. He has guided tour groups since 2003. He first started guiding military groups on Reality of War exercises. As a regular battlefield guide, he now leads tours for schools, the general public and serving military groups. He has guided tours across both First and Second World War battlefield sites. With a previous working career with the Royal British Legion and the Imperial War Museums, Glenn now works for the Commonwealth War Graves Commission as a Manager within their engagement team. Glenn has a real passion for history and an immense knowledge of the subject. this, coupled with a genuine desire to remember the experience of those who served, and fell in the Great War, makes him a fascinating speaker and his talk on the history of the CWGC certainly not one to miss.
