Dr Rob Thompson
Subject: Logistics
Rob is a vastly experienced speaker on many Great War subjects. This one promises to be is unusual but fascinating.
This important work was undertaken diligently and with care after the end of the war, often using soldiers whose friends and comrades had fallen.
Giving this matter some thought - what an unpleasant and physically demanding task, but without it, how many bodies (perhaps your relative?) would have been lost forever? How much of the research that we all take for granted would not be available to us today?
