Dr Jessica Meyer
Subject: The Royal Army Medical Corps in The Great War
Highly regarded in history circles, Dr Meyer is a Professor of history at the University of Leeds, where she originally earned both her degree and MPhil, later going on to complete a PhD in modern history at Cambridge University. Jessica’s key areas of research have been into gender and the medical history of the First World war. Jessica will be joining us to tell the fascinating to story of the Royal Army Medical Corps and its incredible evolution during the conflict.
