He enlisted on 24 May 1916.

Wartime Service

He had the service numbers 8349, 263356 (probably renumbered to this in 1917), 48892 and finally 52352.


He was discharged as not fit for war service due to sickness on 24 August 1918 aged 20. He received the Silver War Badge numbered B163727. He died after hid discharge.
