John is one of three names that appear on the Elstree – Haberdashers’ Askes Girls School memorial board (formerly Acton), which has the dedication “In honour of the former male pupils of this school who gave their lives in the Great War 1914 – 1918”.
The information provided on this memorial is that he was born on 27th May 1899 and died on 27th March 1918, However we have yet to find him in any CWGC or SDITGW records.
