Biography
He was the son of Gordon and Dorothy Swan.
His Service Number was 559205 and he was attached to 512 Air Ministry Experimental Station though in what capacity is unknown. He was based in Singapore but was missing over Indonesia whilst escaping from the invading Japanese Forces. Whether or not he was captured is uncertain, but the probability is that he died as a prisoner of the Japanese.
He has no known grave, but is remembered on Column 417 of the Singapore Memorial to the Missing.
