Biography
He was born in Hertfordshire and was residing there at the time he enlisted. His Service Number was 2330076. The circumstances of his death have not become available, but the probability is that his death was the result of illness or an accident. It should be noticed that his death was before hostilities commenced in the Far East.
He is buried in Plot 1, Row C, Grave l in Rawalpindi in Pakistan. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery adjoins the Christian Cemetery in Rawalpindi.
His parents were George Bertram and Susan Hunt of Hitchin.
