Pre War

Oliver Cromwell Wall was born in Friern Barnet, Middx. in 1896, the sone of Henry Cromwell Wall and Minnie Harriett Bryer Wall.


He went work for Parr's Bank in October 1914 but left in May 1915 to joint the army

Wartime Service

Formerly 2427 in the Hertfordshire Yeomanry he later became a Lance Corporal in the Tank Corps.


He died in hospital in Etaples on 23 October 1918.

Additional Information

His headstone inscription reads: "A GOOD SOLDIER OF JESUS CHRIST" WITH LOVING MEMORIES FROM ALL AT HOME"
