Additional Information
There are articles about Edward in the West Herts and Watford Observer dated 25 May 1918, 10 August 1918, and 7 December 1918, the latter also including a Death announcement; plus an In Memoriam in the issue dated 7 June 1919.
Recorded as Lance-Corporal only in the Borough Roll of Honour.
Unfortunately, Edward’s Service Record appears to be one that did not survive the World War Two bombing.
