Son of the late George and Charlotte (nee PERRY) HISCOCK; husband of Florence Emily (nee SMITH) HISCOCK of Watford.

His parents married 14 June 1874 at Christ Church, St Pancras, London.  George died 20 March 1912 aged 62; Charlotte died 31 July 1915 aged 60; both in Camden, London.

Thomas was born 1877 in St Pancras, and baptised 9 January 1878 at Christ Church, St Pancras.  He married 2 April 1899 at St Mark’s, Regent’s Park, London; they had five children.  Florence never remarried and died 1951 in the Watford district aged 73.

On the 1881 Census, aged 3 he lived in St Pancras, with his parents and two siblings.  On the 1891 Census, an apprentice in a dairy aged 13, he still lived in St Pancras, with his parents and six siblings.  On the 1901 Census, a diamond setter aged 23 he still lived in St Pancras, with his wife and one child.  On the 1911 Census, a jeweller aged 33, he lived in Oxhey, Herts, with his wife and four children.

Wartime Service

He enlisted in London; was entitled to the Victory and British War medals, and was killed in action.  

Additional Information

Unfortunately, Thomas’ Service Record appears to be one that did not survive the World War Two bombing.
