Son of Frederick George and Sarah Ann (nee FENSOME) BRANDON of Luton.

His parents married 13 April 1895 at St Mary’s, Luton.  Frederick died 1951 in the Luton district aged 79; Sarah died 1959 in the Hemel Hempstead, Herts, district aged 85.

Ernest was born 1896 in Luton.

On the 1901 Census, aged 5 he lived in Luton, with his parents and three siblings.  On the 1911 Census, aged 15 he still lived in Luton, with his parents and three siblings.

Wartime Service

He enlisted in Luton, Beds; was entitled to the Victory and British War medals, and was killed in action.

Additional Information

Ernest is possibly the E BRANDON commemorated at Christ Church, Watford.
