Additional Information
His mother, Mrs M Stevens, of Pathway Cottage, Radlett, Herts., ordered his headstone inscription: "PRAY FOR HIS SOUL R.I.P." He was originally buried at Aveluy, Paisley Avenue Cemetery grid reference 3.7d.q.30.6.3.3. his burial location was identified by a cross. His body was conectrated in to Lonsdale Cemetery, Authuille.
