No information regarding Gordon Ebsworth has been found in the National Census records for Abbots Langley, and hence it has not been possible to establish how this man was associated with the village.
Gordon was however listed in the Abbots Langley Parish Magazine Roll of Honour from October 1914, serving with the 7th Service Battalion of The Queen’s Regiment. He was recorded throughout 1914, 1915 and 1916, but was not listed from January 1917 onwards.
It is presumed that Gordon Ebsworth survived the War.
