Biography

Donald Colson was born at Streatham in south London in the autumn of 1900, the only son of Frederick and Lucy Colson. The family lived in Eltham at the time of the 1901 Census, where Frederick worked as a Solicitor.

Donald was first recorded in the Abbots Langley Parish Magazine Roll of Honour for the first time in August 1918, serving with the Officer Training Corps. He was recorded with this unit until the end of the War.

No connection to Abbots Langley has been identified, other than Donald’s listing in the Roll of Honour.

Donald Colson survived the War.
