Biography

Frederick Clark was first recorded in the Abbots Langley Parish Magazine Roll of Honour in July 1916, where he was listed serving with the Motor Transport Army Service Corps (MTASC). He was recorded from that point through to the end of the War, and was also recorded in the Autumn 1918 and Spring 1919 Absent Voter Records, which listed him still serving with the MTASC. It was his appearance in the Abbots Langley Absent Voter Records which identified Frederick’s link to Abbots Langley. In the Records he provided his home address at Serge Hill Lodge.

The Parish Magazine recorded that Frederick Clark and his wife Annie had a son on 6th December 1914, and a daughter born on 3rd December 1916.
