Pre War

We are currently unable to positively identify this soldier on the Borehamwood Memorials.

We think he may be the son of Thomas Creed, a Domestic Coachman and Agnes Creed. Born in 1897, in Finchley, Middlesex.  If we are correct then the following applies:

The 1911 Census records Fred aged 14, at school, living with his parents, brother Stanley (9), and sister Queenie (12), at, 11, Malden Road, Borehamwood, Herts.

Wartime Service

No military records found to positively identify Fred Creed. It is possible that he is Frederick James William Creed born Finchley who served in 10th Battalion KRRC as R/34850, however his father was given as Robert Creed.
