Pre War
Currently we have insufficient information to positively identify this man, however we believe him to be a different man to the A Seabrook also of the Bedfordshire Regiment and who also appears on the Harpenden Town Memorial. This is confirmed by the St Albans Cathedral Diocese records which list both men.
*1 It seems likely that this man is recorded as 15428, Alexander John Seabrook in the Bedfordshire Regiment in his service record. This man was discharged as no longer physically fit for war service on 23rd June 1917 and who appears to have died early in 1919 - then recorded as John A Seabrook.
Additional Information
Not recorded in the CWGC database however his service record indicates that his illness originated about 4th March 1917, while serving, having previously been admitted to hospital in 1916 (twice) and 1917.
