Pre War

Currently we have insufficient information to positively identify this soldier. The St Albans Cathedral Diocese records suggest a connection to Cheshunt and confirms his name as Henry Thomas Wilkins and that he was a Private in the City of London Regiment/Royal Fusilier.

Currently the most likely candidate seems to be Private 701532 (formerly 4446) 2nd/23rd Bn. London Regiment, however we have yet to prove a connection to Cheshunt.
