Currently we have insufficient information to positively identify this soldier. The St Albans Cathedral Diocese records suggest a connection to Cheshunt and confirm his first name to be George and that he was Private in the Royal Sussex Regiment.
Currently there appear to be two candidates from the Royal Sussex Regiment: Private L/8134, and Lance Corporal G/8091, both George Foremans, but we have yet to find a connection to Cheshunt.
