Born on 28 Aug 1879 in Kensington, London son of Maj. Gen. Thomas Elliott and Edith Rose (Onslow) Hughes. Educated at the United Services College 1893-97. He married Gladys Wynn Rucker on 30 Nov 1912 in Bombay, India.

Wartime Service

He was killed by a Ghazi at Mand Mekran, Baluchistan.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
