He emigrated to Glenavon, Saskatchewan, Canada to be a farmer.
Wartime Service
Enlisted on 23 Dec 1914 in Grenfell, Saskatchewan, Canada and was killed with two of his colleagues on mounted patrol in action at Vimy Ridge in France.
