Born on 6 Mar 1885 and baptised on 19 Apr 1885 in Richmond. Surrey son of Herbert Frederick and Bethea Emma (Alexander) Chapman of 1 Burlington House, Richmond Hill, Surrey. Educated at Haileybury College 1899-1903.
Wartime Service
First commissioned on 16 Aug 1905 into the Indian Army and promoted to Lieutenant on 16 Nov 1907. Died on service in Shiraz, Iran.
