Born on 9 Oct 1877 and was baptised on 9 Dec 1877 in Wandsworth, London son of Arthur and Alice Elizabeth (Greenhill) Thompson of Garthlands, Reigate Heath, Surrey. Educated at Haileybury College 1891-95. He married Sylvia May Gardiner in 1908 and lived at "By the Way", Merstham, Surrey and had two sons. He was a produce broker.

Wartime Service

He entered France on 24 Dec 1917 and was killed in action.

Additional Information

Brother of Captain Arnold Bosanquet Thompson who was killed in action on 25 December 1915 and is also commemorated on these memorials.
