Born on 2 Apr 1896 in Claremont Road, Cricklewood, London and baptised on 14 Jun 1896 in Holy Trinity, Kilburn son of John Howell and Alice Edith Spence of White Cot, Penton Hook, Staines, Middlesex. Educated at Haileybury College 1910-14. Later lived in Cogee, Harold Road, Frinton-on-Sea, Essex.

Wartime Service

Died in the Cottage Hospital, Ashford, Kent after an accident.
