Born in 1882 in Landridge, Surrey son of John and Jane Cowlard of Limpsfield, Surrey. ; husband of Alice Rosa Cowlard of 16 Capell Hamlet, Chorleywood West, Hertfordshire.

Wartime Service

He enlisted at Guildford. Formerly 70336 Private, Middlesex Regiment, transferred to (60324) 101st Company, Labour Corps. Died of wounds (gas) probably in Hospital at Rouen.
