Additional Information

There is an article about and a Death announcement for Charles in the West Herts and Watford Observer dated 12 May 1917.

His brother William died 21 January 1917 and also features on Watford Borough Roll of Honour.

Unfortunately, Charles’ Service Record appears to be one that did not survive the World War Two bombing.
