Born on 26 Nov 1882 and baptised on 9 Jan 1883 in Knaphill, Woking, Surrey son of Richard Cecil and Susan Horatio Corbett later of Stableford, Bridgnorth, Salop. Educated at Haileybury College 1897-99. He became an apprentice shipbuilder and married Ida Hardcastle on 3 Sep 1917 in Holy Trinity, Brompton, London and lived at Toft Cottage, Dunchurch, Rugby.

Wartime Service

Commissioned Lieut R.F.A. in Jan 1915, entered France on 2 Sep 1915 and was killed in action.
