Born in 1894 in High Halden, Kent son of the Rev. Canon Percy Herbert and Augusta Charlotte Caroline (Clarke) Collins later of The Rectory, Lydd, Kent. Educated at The Imperial Service College, Windsor.

Wartime Service

Formerly Private 27873 Canadian Infantry he obtained a commission in the Royal Sussex Regiment and was killed in action on the Somme.

Additional Information

Imperial Service College was formed in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
