Son of Abraham and Sarah Clough, of Burley-in-Wharfedale, Yorks; husband of Martha Clough, of 50, Kay Rd., Stockwell, London. A son Robart Alfred was born circa 1914.

Additional Information

Harold is also commemorated on his family’s grave in Newnham (St. Vincent) Churchyard. His part of the inscription reads:

IN LOVING MEMORY OF HAROLD CLOUGH. WHO LOST HIS LIFE ON H.M.S. QUEEN MARY MAY 31ST 1916.

Harold's son Robart was killed in the Second World War as a civilian and although buried in Letchworth is commemorated on this headstone.
