Recorded as born in Ware and living in Luton when he enlisted there.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Luton, entered France on 6 Oct 1914 and died of wounds in Merville Casualty Clearing Station.
Brother of Private Henry George Clibbon who died of wounds on 12 Dec 1917.
There are two Joseph Clibbons with connections to Ware this man (service number 5832) and service number 265367, however only one appears in the Ware memorials. We do not with certainty which (yet) however as the latter has the stronger connection we have marked him as appearing and this mans as not on the memorials. This may change if new information comes to light.
