Born Colwyn Bay, County Denbigh on 20th February 1893, son of the Rev. John Moses, a Wesleyan Minister, and Elizabeth Thompson, of 355, Norton Way South, Letchworth.


Educated at Sir George Monoux Grammar School, Walthamstow & Kingswood School, Bath. 


1911 resident at 22 Green Lane, Letchworth. Lived at 355 Norton Way South, Letchworth, Herts.


He worked as a publishers Clerk, before joining the Civil Service Rifles on 28th September 1915.

Wartime Service

Enlisted as Pte, 28th London Regt (4664). Commissioned 15th London Regt 02/06/1916.


He was killed in action near Ypres, Belgium.
