Son of Benjamin and Mary Jane Skipsey, of 2, Pikes Cottages, Arkley, Barnet, Herts. Lived in Barnet (probably Arkley, Barnet) when he enlisted in Hornsey.


Census: 1901 census living at 2 Pike's Cottages, High Road Arkley with parents and siblings and 1911 census living at 2 Pike's Cottages, High Street Arkley with parents and siblings.


For 1910-1915 the electoral rolls also have him living at Pike's Cottages.

Wartime Service

Formerly 3248 7th Middlesex Regiment. Killed in action.


He went to France on 1 Sep 1915 after having served in Egypt.
