Born in 1893 in Chorleywood Bottom, Hertfordshire son of Thomas and Annie (Crawley) Sims later of Honeysuckle Cottage, Chorleywood. He was a gardener’s labourer.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford formerly 5369, Hertfordshire Regiment and was killed in action.
