Born on 22 Apr 1882 in Hoddesdon son of Frederick Henry and Annie Cherry and was living in High Street, Hoddesdon in 1891, in Lord Street, Hoddesdon in 1901 and in Ivydene, Ware Road, Hoddesdon in 1911. He married Bertha Kathleen Merry, of Sydney Lodge, Hoddesdon in 1911 and was a member of the London Corn Exchange.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at London and was killed in action near Ypres.
