Son of John and Elizabeth (nee SUMPTER) SENIOR of Watford.
His parents married 18 April 1881 at St Barnabas’, Linslade, Bucks. John died 1938 in Watford aged 90, and was buried 19 December in North Watford Cemetery.
Harry was born 23 August 1897 in Watford, and baptised 22 September 1897 at St Andrew’s, Watford. He attended first Callow Land Infants’ School, Watford; then Callowland Board School from 11 January 1904 to 4 July 1911. He resided in Watford.
On the 1901 Census, aged 3 he lived in Watford, with his parents and seven siblings. On the 1911 Census, a news boy aged 13, he still lived in Watford, with his parents and three siblings.
Wartime Service
He enlisted in Watford, and was formerly Private 225866 Northamptonshire Regiment. He was entitled to the Victory and British War medals, and was killed in action in the front line near Steenbecque.

Unfortunately, Harry’s Service Record appears to be one that did not survive the World War Two bombing.
