Born in 1893 in Tottenham, London son of William James and Caroline Mary (Hunt) Dray and living as a boarder in 24 Bengeo Street, Hertford and working as an ironmonger’s assistant in 1911 and later lived in Church Street, Buntingford.

Reginald Dray was born in 1891 to William John and Caroline Mary Dray. By 1901 census results show his mother was widowed and living in Church Street, Buntingford. She was still there in 1911. William was not shown on his mother’s census return for either year.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford and was killed in action.
