At the time of the 1901 Census George was employed as a Clerk at a Church, and the family lived at 133 Carlton Vale, Willesden. Arthur’s two brothers, Edgar and Howard also served in the Great War.
In the 1911Census Summary Records a Mr Saull was listed living in Lauderdale Road, Hunton Bridge, in a property noted as housing three males and two females. In the Absent Voter Records of Autumn 1918 and Spring 1919 his brother Edgar was listed living at Lauderdale Road.
