Pre War

Born on 26 Feb 1882 son of George Arbouin Burnett of Vauxhall, London; husband of Violet Burnett of Vanners, Byfleet, Surrey. Educated at Haileybury College 1896-99. He was a gin rectifier and vinegar maker.

Wartime Service

Enrolled as Private 2145 28th London Regiment. Entered France on 29 Dec 1914. Obtained a commission in the Northumberland Fusiliers on 21 Feb 1915 and re-entered France on 4 May 1915. Killed in action near Kemmel, Belgium.
