Born on 17 Apr 1894 in Kensington, London son of William Alexander and Marion (Gray) Buchanan, of The Cottage, Knebworth, Hertfordshire. Educated at Haileybury College 1908-09.

Wartime Service

He arrived in France on the 14th May 1916 and was killed at Artois during the Battle of Arras on Easter Monday 1917. Fraser is buried in Cabaret-Rouge British Cemetery, Souchez, France.
