Born in 1883 in Hoddesdon and christened on 7 Oct 1883 son of Frederick James and Emma Lucy (Cant) Brown and was living in 78 Burford Street, Hoddesdon in 1891 and again in 1911. He was already with the 7th Hussars at Aldershot in 1901 and served 12 years with them.

Wartime Service

He died in London.

Brother of Private George Horace Brown who was killed on 4 Oct 1918 and is also commemorated on these memorials.
