Son of Edmond or Edward William and Sarah Elizabeth (nee BREWER) BREWER of Watford.
His parents married 22 May 1893 at Holy Trinity, Clapham, London. Edmond, of Watford, died 12 February 1939 in London S.W.3 aged 70, and was buried 15 February in Vicarage Road Cemetery, Watford; Sarah died 1946 in Watford aged 80, and was buried 17 October, also in Vicarage Road Cemetery.
Frederick was born 15 August 1894 in Clapham, and baptised 23 September 1894 at Holy Trinity, Clapham. He attended Beechen Grove Board School, Watford, from 4 December 1905 to 3 September 1907. He resided in Watford.
He has an entry in the National Probate Calendar.
On the 1901 Census, aged 6 he lived in East Ham, Essex, with his parents and one sibling. On the 1911 Census, a railway clerk aged 16, he lived in Watford with his parents and one sibling.
Wartime Service
He enlisted in Camden Town, London, 8 September 1914, in the Territorial Force for four years service. He went with the Expeditionary Force 9 March 1915, and his next-of-kin was his father of Watford.
He was entitled to the Victory, British War and 1914-15 Star medals, his qualifying date being 10 March 1915, and was killed in action in the field.
