Born on 25 Jun 1897 and baptised on 24 Jul 1897 in Murree, Bengal, India son of Lt. Col. Arthur Hamilton Dundas Riach R.E. and Mildred Agnes Riach later of 30 Mattock Lane, Ealing, London. Educated at the Imperial Service College, Windsor.

Wartime Service

Entered France on 30 Sep 1915 and became a prisoner of war on 23 Mar 1918. He died of wounds possibly in a German hospital at Le Cateau.

Additional Information

Imperial Service College was formed in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
