Born on 4 Jun 1890 in Grimsby, Lincolnshire son of William Farrow and Jane Read. Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1902-07 and then worked in Grimsby.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Grimsby and entered France on 9 Jan 1916. He was killed in action on the first day of the Battle of the Somme while taking a message from battalion H.Q. to the line and was shot in the head.
