Born in 1889 in Hertford and was baptised on 18 Dec 1889 in Hertford son of Henry and Harriett Raw and living in 9 Oak Street, Hertford in 1891, in 5 City Street, Hertford in 1901 and later in 22 Green Street, Hertford. Enlisted at Hertford before WW1 and was in Bermuda with the Regiment in 1911.
Wartime Service
He entered France on 4 Jan 1915 and was killed in action at the Battle of Arras.
