His mother was Mrs Cooper of 96 Holywell Hill, St Albans when he died 

Wartime Service

Was reported as missing, but he was taken as a prisoner of war on March 24th 1918, having ben wounded by gunshot in his back, but he died on pneumonia on April 17th. in a field hospital at Boham.
