Born on 23 Jul 1892 in London son of Lt. Col. Walter C.B., C.M.G. (R.A.M.C.) and E.B. Beevor. Educated at the United Services College 1904-05.

Wartime Service

Formerly 2nd Lieutenant 18th Hussars he obtained his flying certificate on 13 Jun 1913 at Brooklands and joined the Royal Naval Air service on 1 Jul 1914 as a Flight Lieutenant. He was shot down at Diksmuide while flying a Bristol T. B. 8 biplane from Eastbourne to Dunkirk. Also killed was Francis Earl of Annesley.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
