Born in 1884 in Camberwell, Surrey son of Mrs Hills of Keston, Kent. He married Eliza Jane Barnes later of 15 Talbot Street, Hertford on 12 Nov 1910 and had two children. He was a coachman and was living in 37 Montford Place, Kennington, London in 1911.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at London on 4 Jul 1916, entered France on 4 Dec 1916 and died of wounds in 19th Casualty Clearing Station, France.

Additional Information

His widow was awarded a pension of 22/11p per week for herself and two children after his death.
