Pre War
*1 It important to say that any inclusion of the man against Puttenham would be controversial as Puttenham is a 'Thankful Village' meaning that all the men who served, survived - Puttenham is the only one in Hertfordshire.
It would appear that Harold's parents, Charles and Clara Sarah Ann Barker moved to Astrope House, Puttenham, Tring, Herts. sometime after 1911 (then living at 25 St Mary's Road, Reigate) - *2 presumably after 1914 and may well have been after Harold's death, and therefore Harold may have no direct connection this location, and given the status of Puttenham as a Thankful Village we must accept this to be the case.
We include his name here simply to explain any possible future confusion.
